I had been considering posting a few shots of birds for a while, but I didn't have many! When a Sparrowhawk dropped in next door, I finally decided that I really should try to get some photos of any birds, rare or common , and make a few web pages to show them. Most photos were taken with a Nikon D70 or 40x and either an 80-200 f2.8 or an 80-400 or 70-300vr.
A few were taken with a 1.4 or 2x teleconverter and some were taken on a Panasonic FZ 20.
